KID ORY TRANSCRIPTION DISC. 6 SONGS ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LACQUER ACETATE 33 1/3 RPM DISC. THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. VERY RARE!
This rare disc contains 6 songs recorded by Kid Ory. There are two dates on the discs, I don't know if they correspond to the sides of the disc or not, they are June 27, 1950 and July 6, 1950.
Side one includes four songs: 1. "Yaaka Hula Hickey Dula", 2. a song with vocals by Ory but is in a gibberish that I can't make out, 3. "Go Back Home Where You Stayed Last Night" female vocal (Helen?), 4. an unidentified instrumental
Side two contains 2 instrumental songs
Approximately 19 minutes total time
Disc is in Excellent+ to Near Mint- Condition with Near Mint- sound, Beautiful Disc!
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
