***RARE KJT TAX CODE***

Have a listen to a track from this album for sale:

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

Catalogue Number: PCS 7607/8

Matrix Endings:
1/1/1/2

The Vinyl:
153g/139g

The vinyl has just light marks to her, after playing her ALL THE WAY  through, I found minimal light background noise-more evident on the start tracks of each disc....mostly due to just dust in the grooves, so a GENTLE professional clean and you've got a lovely copy!
I did notice a tiny skip:
Track 2, side 3
With a few pops at the end of Glass Onion.
A slightly heavier stylus and a gentle clean will surely sort these out.
A simple joy to listen to, which would only improve with a professional clean....
Simply wonderfully clear playback!

TURN HER UP-I DID ;)

The labels: EX-. All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Just light spindle marks to each label these can only be seen when angling to the light....Lovely!
Minimal hole wear to side 1.
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

NOW HERE'S THE REALLY QUITE RARE PART:
On side 2 there are is proudly raised tax code of "KJT" I have never before seen this on the White Album!! It was a tax code which was introduced in 1968, which is the year this album was born.
VERY RARE

UNUSUAL
****"KJT" TAX CODE****

The Cover: NUMBERED: 0082811 Low number.
It is the first run TOP loading and LOVELY & CLEAN, SUPERB shine to it. Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing!!
The spine remains strong, but does carry some rubbing and lifting to a few small areas. The front cover also has some rubbing to the top gatefold, where a fan has opened her many a time :)
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
The top has light feathering.
There are a few small crescents of spidering to the front and back, as well as some small fingers of spidering eminating from the spine and seam, with light knocking and rubbing to the corners.

(Please see the detailed pictures for yourself and click on them for larger and more detailed images).
AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADINGS

Very good and very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold.
I have found a light crease, just to the inside right gatefold, next to the spine...just mentioning as it really isn't anything to worry about.
GORGEOUS ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!

Inners: EX- Original BLACK inners. They are both well looked after with one just having a couple of small tears to the one-sided window.
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
THEY ARE ORIGINAL
Certainly done their job by looking after these records for all this time!

Pictures:
They are EXCELLENT AND ORIGINAL.
ALL present (John and George, Ringo & Paul)
They DON'T have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall.
Lovely and bright.
Beautiful white backings too!
GORGEOUS

Poster: EXCELLENT! Full size and with lyrics to the back.
NO holes/splits to the fold creases!!!
 NO pin holes.
The only thing I can comment on is a further 2 gentle creases at equal disdance from the left and right of the original fold crease.

ALL IN ALL A SUPERB COLLECTORS PIECE HERE...DON'T FORGET:
IT'S  THE FIRST MONO PRESS, COMPLETE AND HAS THE REALLY RATHER RARE "KJT" TAX CODE!
SOUNDS GREAT-LOOKS GREAT-IS GREAT!
