Description
This is the second copy of this extremely rare Zeppelin LP we will have auctioned in just a couple of weeks, but this one came from an absolutely outstanding collection of records which used to belong to a well-known record reviewer. We here at Stamford Audio have never before seen such an amazing collection, and such a sterling one in this kind of outstanding condition is a rarity indeed.
Very nice copy of the extremely hard-to-find Led Zeppelin II LP on Atlantic red/plum label with both The Lemon Song credit and the Livin' Lovin' Wreck misprint. Cat. no. 588 198, A2/B2 pressing.
Sleeve grades EX minus, with a little corner scuffing, some light storage wear and the ghost of a sticker front top left.
Vinyl is EX minus, with a few light marks mostly not affecting play, but there is a little background noise on side two, tracks four and five.
Overall, this is still a very nice copy of this rare classic.
This LP came from the collection of a well-respected music journalist and we will be listing more of his wonderful records very soon - check our other items.
