RARE and LONG OUT OF PRINT! VERY LOW NUMBER, LIMITED NUMBER EDITION! STING "THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES" Released 1985, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL), #538 (low, low number!!!). Complete with superb glossy gatefold cover, 4-page pictorial lyrics insert, and custom MFSL pictorial inner jacket!
Stunning Audiophile sound that will captivate your sense! 
Mixed at Blue Wave Recording Studios, St. Philip, Barbados and Le Studio, Morin Heights, Quebec. 

Half Speed Mastered by Original Masterworks. Specially Plated and Pressed On High Definition Super Vinyl By Victor Company Of Japan. 

Has an adhesive sticker on reverse of gatefold Jacket, with words "Limited Edition" number 538 of only 5000 copies issued worldwide. 
From the moment that Sting's band The Police broke through the punk/new wave border lines to straddle multiple genres, people knew they were different and a force of musical power to be reckoned with. 
With a drummer (Stewart Copeland) who could syncopate like no other drummer of his era; a guitarist (Andy Summers) who exhibited experimental lines with conventional songs structure; and a bass player, lead singer and songwriter (Sting) who transcended the music stylizations of the time, The Police were extraordinary in every respect. 
"The Dream of the Blue Turtles" is Sting's legendary solo debut album, which is given the royal Analog-enhancement  treatment for Audiophile aficionados. 
Superlative song craftsmanship wrapped by stunning virtuoso musicianship on timeless songs such as "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" and "Fortress Around Your Heart."  The song "Moon Over Bourbon Street" was inspired by "Interview With A Vampire" by Anne Rice.
