Other Information: So this is from my own collection and bought by my father (At 7 years old I wasn't old enough to go to the record store on my own as it was full of Teddy Boys - apparently) Anyway, that was the story I got.
The Lana Sisters were formed by Riss Chantelle in 1958, along with Lynne Abrams. They put an advert in The Stage for a third member and got a reply from Mary O'Brien, who would go on to solo success a few years later as Dusty Springfield. After Chantelle left the Lana Sisters she became the Chantelles with two friends.
The A side bombed but the B side track - You've Got What It Takes, got some airplay and made the Top Ten in Ireland.
Both sides played and tested and no hops, skips or jumps. Some snap crackle and pop commensurate with a record of this age but overall pretty darn good and a rare record on Ebay.
