Description
Here we have the ultra rare NWOBHM classic "Let Battle Commence", by WARRIOR.
This album is regarded by many as one of the purest of its kind ever made.
It was recorded in May 1980 at the Rainbow Studios, Nottingham.
It was recorded engineered and mastered in 3 days,we could not afford any more studio time so it was a mad dash to get it done, appart from a few guitar dubs it is recorded virtualy live. It was done on an 8 track recorder!, thus giving it a raw more honest sound.
I was the vocalist/songwriter on the album, most of the tracks are written about events that had happened to me, I was heavily involved in medieval re enactment at the time and some of the lyrics reflect this.
The cover has seen some action and has been clear taped on both edges (most of the covers fell apart because of poor gluing!)
The vinyl is 9 out of 10 condition.
I have 3 copies of the album without covers and unplayed, I will also include one with this sale, so one can be kept mint whilst the other can be safely played, I will also sign the dust cover if you wish.
There really cant be many of these about now, no serious collector of rock history should be without this so dont miss this very rare oppertunity to own one of the rarest gems from a era never to been repeated.
