Hello! This auction is for the rare box set as shown in the photo. The vinyl's themselves are in mint condition and appear not to have been played, the bottom left corner of the sleeves have a small dent however. The low starting offer is due to the slight wear to the hard case. These are near impossible to find around the world now so good luck! 




The Decca Sound is an extremely limited edition 6-LP vinyl box set of legendary recordings celebrating the world-renowned Decca Sound. The set features classic-status pioneering stereo recordings from the past 55 years starring a galaxy of internationally-acclaimed artistic talent. Each LP is presented in a sleeve with the original cover art. 

An accompanying 200-page booklet documents the development of the stereo recordings as they came to be in the 1950s through to the modern digital recordings as well as an article on Decca artists and repertory with particular reference to the artists featured in the set. 

This is now a limited, numbered edition of 2000 sets. The 180g vinyl has been manufactured at Optimal who are widely considered to be the best vinyl manufacturer today.
