Item up for bid is the " Holy Grail Of Jazz Records " the 1959 cut of Miles Davis' " Kind Of Blue. " This album features Miles Davis playing along side: Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, James Cobb, John Coltrane, Bill Evans and Wynton Kelly. This rare album features the Misspelling of Adderley's name along with the classic 6 eye label which identifies it scarcity. It also has the rare CS 8163 number on its cover, and the 1AD/1AE pressing identification on the record itself. The cover is in fair condition, its was taped up long ago. But the information on it can still be read. The album is in good condition, it plays through well . It has 2 " very " minute skips on side one that are pretty much imperceivable. The record has that old time static sound, but its mostly smooth playing. There are some visible scuffs on the record, but once again it plays through fairly nice. This album is a rare collectors item for the jazz enthusiast, so much so, that many have labeled it the " Holy Grail " of jazz recordings, for its scarcity and its innovative composition.
