PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE original 1970 first pressing ...one of thee delightful white bluesrock bands, Cuby & the Blizzards had a long history of great albums -- a world renown Dutch blues group that started in 1964. Right from the start they were a big hit in the Netherlands. This band is completely different from another Dutch band in the same time period, Peter & the Blizzards.
In 1967 they toured with Van Morrison (in lieu of his band Them), scored a hit with Window of my Eyes and received an Edison award. That year, John Mayall stayed at their farm and the next year they regularly played with the 'king of British blues' Alexis Korner.
Cuby & The Blizzards were centered around the remarkable founders Harry Muskee (vocals) and Eelco Gelling (guitar) ...
The spelling of the name varies, with 'Cuby' also written as 'QB' and the ampersand (&) also written as 'and' or '+' and the 'and sometimes left out. The spelling 'Cuby + Blizzards' was used on the first albums.
Their 1968 KING OF THE WORLD album is a USA issue, an overview containing specially selected best tracks from the first three DUTCH only albums...Highlights Include the beatrock/blues gem, "Another Day Another Road" with its impact sound and sizzling guitar break...the awesome "Tripping Thru A Midnight Blues" and similar in the best of the 60's hippie rock crossover to burning blues styles ...

CONDITION: The Cover: Solid all over; "EX" (excellent) has a 'touch' of shelf wear starting, still looks like a final collection copy, the seams are strong, no bends, no writing... No delete marks which is rare ... one of the best copies seen in a long time.
The Vinyl: all glossy clean and clear M- ...looks and plays TOP LEVEL ... both labels are clean except for little tiny tiny record company(?) printed(not by hand) numbers in mid label (very minor)
