Description
JIMI HENDRIX Rare 1968 pressing of Electric Ladyland. Polydor UK 2657 012 Deluxe Double. Album cover was banned in the U.S. Printed and made by Howards Pprinters (Slough) limited, England. This is a full vinyl weight 2 disc set. The label and jacket references this album being available on 8 Track tapes and " music cassettes" .
VINYL is in mint condition. I know because I bought this new and it was only played on my Dual table with a Shure V15 Type IV with the hard to find MR stylus at 3/4 gram. Has been stored for years in correct conditions, and last played to digitize it at very high sample rates.
JACKET is in Mint condition as are the sleeves, which also bear original UK manufacture markings and in ORIGINAL vinly outer sleeve. The outer vinyl cover is getting a bit tatty, because that how this has been stored. The cover of this two disc set is perfect with no wear. NO damage to inner sleeves. This is as close to unused as you will find anywhere and is unique not just for the condition , or the risque cover, but the UK pressing was mastered differently and sounds much better than the US pressings. Most think that the UK pressings were the best - even beating the Japan releases.
Some one asked if the stickers are on the cover. NO the two stickers shown are on the outer vinyl wrapping. The cover is totally free of marks.
