Description
This Elvis Presley record album is in very good condition. The album sleeve has been protected because the shrink wrap, although having a tear in it, has been on the LP all these years. It is in very good condition, and it's a special, flawed/misprint copy - meaning worth more than a correct label printing. I took pictures of both sides of the album, then noticed that each picture said "Side 1". In double checking, I realized that this really has the Side 1 label on both sides - just as in the pictures provided - which makes this a special LP. Please consider adding this RARE copy of an Elvis Presley classic to your own collection. (Do the research and you'll realize this is a "FIND".
My research shows that this is an early version of the first Elvis record:

Release Date: 2/1962
Cover Front: Second cover released in 1962 and used through 1968. RCA Victor logo at upper right, number at upper left, and Stereo in upper right, with or without the red Stereo reprocessed sticker over top, which was later introduced in 1968 The sticker was either affixed to the cover or in rare cases to the shrink wrap. (No red sticker on this cover or shrink wrap...)
Cover Back: From left to right. Number at upper right. FROM THE ORIGINATORS OF ELECTRONICALLY REPROCESSED STEREO box near the upper left corner. Important notice lower right corner. © by Radio Corporation of America, 1956 centered on bottom. May or may not have a "2" at lower left corner. (No "2" on this one)
Disc: 1962. Stereo. Black label, All print on label print is silver. Staggered STEREO on bottom of label. No "STEREO ORTHOPHONIC" HIGH FIDELITY on label.
Now, regarding the Matrix numbers, what is on the album matches the following:
Side 1: M2 PY4727-5S (machine stamped) / Side 2: M2 PY4728-4S (machine stamped) (Indianapolis pressing)
HOWEVER, Side 2, although marked PY4728-4S has a Side 1 label. (As an eBay'r pointed out via message, maybe someone out there has this album with 2 Side Two labels on theirs. Who knows?)
