PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. TOP COPY ...rare MONO ... the mono copy has different song mixes as well as a bold punchy production, vastly different from the also rare stereo issue -- but the mono issue is way harder to find...
RARE and sought after MINTY CLEAN 1967 Original first pressing vinyl of otherworldly trippy splatter avant-progressive...very early for it's time and similar to what was happening with some of the flipped-out Krautrock bands a few years later....

Il Gruppo went a step farther in collective improvisation then many of their contemporaries in avant-garde – who although expressing dissatisfaction with conventions of rhythm, melody and dialogue, using jazz idioms as a starting point – then deconstructing the idioms creating strange pieces which stress total exclusion of any set dynamics, pattern or scheme. The Private Sea of Dreams is an attempt to ignore the musical grammar of the time, and to instead create a new set with its own consistent and internally contained logic, aesthetics and interplay; unquestioningly taken up and built upon by many other free improvisers.
The pieces themselves cover a wide array of sounds -- the composers subvert one of their most trusted forms into a creaking monstrosity, the musicians rubbing and scratching grating shrieks out of their instruments; in Waves (Per Cinque), there are frenetic exchanges and percussive bursts; and in Sunrise (Per Otto), we are treated to the strange, bleating trumpet of Ernie Morricone (well known for his popular 60's Spaghetti Westerns featuring Clint Eastwood).We're looking more at alien soundtrack-scapes.
There are plenty of seemingly random percussive instrument strokes & wailing scattered about the tracks. A few tracks with the more percussive odysseys of "Rkba -1675 Take One" and "Side One-Band Four" are highly interesting works. The more adventurous of you will probably find some cool hits on this one; it just depends on your personal tastes or aversions regarding abstract music.
The big draw here is that this album is an interesting aural document of a specific artistic time and place. A few of you might be a little more up for the avant-garde music; if you're looking for interesting nightmares, this could be a good bedtime album too. 'Private Sea Of Dreams' could be 60's Italian code for nightmares for all we know.
