Description

Here is your chance to own the EXTREMELY RARE UK MONO version of the 'Bookends' LP by Simon and Garfunkel, CBS 63101, with a difference! This LP comes from the collection of the great composer, musician and bandleader Laurie Holloway, who had the LP signed by Paul Simon on one of his UK visits (Paul also added Art Garfunkel's name in the same ink!). The mono mix on this LP easily surpasses the stereo mix, much more light and shade, superb, attacking bass, tremendous detail on guitar parts and the harmonies will just take your breath away!!

The sleeve has a little ringwear, some light edge creases and a little storage wear to the back, but has great laminate and is structurally excellent. Grades EX-.

Vinyl has a few light surface marks not affecting superb audio, plus a more obvious line across tracks 2, 3 and 4 on side 1, again not affecting the audio, which is extremely strong! Plays beautifully, and grades EX- visually, EX playgrade.  

UK recorded £2.99, Europe Standard Airmail £4.99, rest of world standard airmail £8.99. Insurance added to shipping at buyer's cost if final auction price demands.
