Description
Here is a super RARE MONO album offered up for sale by the blues legend John Lee Hooker, his LIVE album "John Lee Hooker Concert At Newport". Released in 1964 on Vee Jay VJLP-1078 (mono), has the 1960's Long Playing Microgroove VJ logo, with Monarch "circled MR" in deadwax, has original paper inner sleeve, a well cared for a 57 year old! Great artist performing live, "Boom Boom, Talk That Talk Baby, Bus Station Blues" and more.
The vinyl grades strong VG+, is super clean and glossy, has a few light marks on both sides, nothing heavy, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent clear sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen!
The cover rates strong VG+, is super clean and bright with no ring wear, seams have a couple spot areas of missing slick that looks like shelf wear, no signatures or writing, minimal age discoloration, has been well cared for. Paper sleeve is clean and bright, 2 small center splits neatly taped. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
