If you dig the genre of Sitar funk, you'll know there's only a few that really live up to the billing and these are well known. For example Dave Pike's - Mathar, Ananda Shankar - Streets of Calcutta, RD Burman -Dum maro Dum etc Most other supposed sitar funk is maybe 30 secs long with a vaguely funky backbeat and some sitar, that would cover most Bollywood soundtracks. here's a track that loves up to the billing. Loud funk drums and tabla all the way through this banger of a club track. I strongly recommend this 45. It rocks and is up there with the above classic. Incredibly this is not compiled yet and seems well under the radar. Get ahead of the pack and watch it rise in price. As featured in the the Fact magazine Top 20 Bollywood trks. It’s an extremely rare and hard 45 to source especially with a cover. This came from a Dig in the heart of Bombay (thats another story ahhh happy days)
