Description

This is the groundbreaking 1959 Charles Mingus LP, Mingus Ah Um, issued on the Columbia Records label. It is a stereo fidelity recording with the six eye Columbia label. The LP plays VG+ with occasional crackle and when viewed in the light, there are a few superficial scratches on the LP surface that do not affect play quality. All in all, this is a great original copy of Mingus's 1959 monumental jazz album. The LP cover is in VG condition as it is moderately worn with a small light stain in the lower left corner on the back cover. The etched matrix numbers on side 1 of the LP are XSM47459-1AB and on side 2, XSM47459-1AF.
