Original 1973 Vinyl Album
I acquired the Dolls album
(it's a promotional copy)
the minute it was released, and
I brought it to my hangout, Max's Kansas City.
Mickey Ruskin, Max's owner, signed first:
*To Carol, Queen of the Glitter, God Bless You, David Doll*
I was not Queen of the Glitter and Mickey was not David Doll. That was just his sense of humor.
Then David signed:
*David Roger Johansen*
And then Johnny insisted on signing:
*Johnny Thunders*
We were all very excited at the release of this terrific album, a unique NYC 1970s sound.
The vinyl looks very good, but I haven't played it in decades so I don't know for sure.
The cover is beat up. See photos.
Top and bottom each have a few inches broken through
Every corner and edge is like the photos.
I have not repaired.
