Description
Here is a cool album from my collection offered up for sale: Jazz instrumental album "Gerry Mulligan Meets Stan Gets", originally released in 1957, this is a 1961 second pressing by Verve Records 68249 (Stereo), this is a heavy pressing disc with silver and black "Stereophonic" labels, still has printed inner sleeve, looks rarely played, rare collectable!
Music features cool jazz saxophone masters "..., you find that on side one of the album Getz plays baritone and Mulligan plays tenor; and on the other side they reversed the procedure so that each played his primary instrument - Stan the tenor and Gerry the baritone.".
The vinyl grades NEAR MINT, is super clean and glossy, near pristine looking disc, looks rarely played and very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish, clear sound minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The inner sleeve has a couple small splits neatly taped, light age discoloration.
The cover rates strong NEAR MINT, is front portrait is clean and bright with no ring wear, edges and corners excellent with no wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, no signatures or writing, back is clean and bright with just a tiny bit of ring wear, looks minimally handled, has been VERY well cared for! Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
