RARE NORTHERN SOUL AUCTION
TITLE : THEY'LL NEVER KNOW WHY/BABY I'M SORRY ARTIST : FREDDIE CHAVEZ LABEL : U.S. LOOK 5010 CONDITION : VERY GOOD+
As usual I'm needing to clear down some stuff from the shelves. All items are from my personal collection and all winning bids will be dispatched within 24 hours of payment.
This is an original U.S. repress which was supposedly legitimate at the time. Either way I've had it in my collection since the early 1970s. "They'll Never Know Why" is a sterling slice of Texas Soul and is now classified as legendary status following it's appearance in the film "Northern Soul". Slight mark on label whichg is difficult to see (please see scan) but otherwise condition is Very Good+ and the record plays perfectly. Here's a clip:-
