Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64 - Nathan Milstein soloist with New York Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Bruno Walter - V-Disc No. 696 & 697

From 1946, rare set of two 12" vinylite 78 rpm records in V+ condition. Light to moderate surface wear and scratches. Plays very well with some recurring surface noise. You can listen to samples from all four sides on the audio player below. Please see images for details. The source for these sides was apparently a CBS radio broadcast.

I've been a record collector since 1976 and a dealer for over 20 years. I grade fairly and honestly using the Goldmine grading standards for vinyl and VJM grading for shellac (78's). I use new record mailers and protect the album cover and vinyl (separated in a poly sleeve to avoid seam splits) with 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 corrugated pads.
