Description

Up for bid is an un-played copy of Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising" on 2XLP. This particular copy is a PROMO copy as noted by the sticker over the UPC (see 2nd photo). It is NOT SEALED but most assuredly un-played.
I got this brand new back when it came out and I worked for Columbia Records. I must have had a stack of these, but I gave them all away. I did however save one of each record that I worked on with the rest of my record collection as a memento of sorts. I can assure you that it is UNPLAYED but alas it is not sealed (that's the way it came). Heck, I never even took it out of the jacket. 
I can provide an old business card from my days at Columbia if needed. 
I have been buying and selling records for years, so the winning bidder can be assured that it will be shipped in a mailer in the proper manner.
Asking price is based on the last NEW copy to be sold in the USA. That one was sealed, this one is not and I get that. I'm also taking offers, so take a shot.
