Description

Here is a album from my collection offered up for auction: The MEGA RARE 1st press Tan label 1967 MONO Lp album "Strange Days" by the Doors, their 2nd album, on Elektra records EKL-4014.The record grades VG to VG/VG+! Beautiful glossy! Has some light marks on both sides. Plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality! Overall good clear sound. Only a hint of faint surface noise in quieter moments and a few errant pops. VERY enjoyable listen and way different fuller sound than the common stereo version. The jacket is easy VG+ maybe VG+?EX. No splits, edges in super shape! The jacket has MONO printed on front and rear in corner. Small initial or check mark in upper left corner only notable flaw! front and rear cover are beautiful with no readily visible ringwear. Labels are in great shape but one side has small signature.  Has an original photo lyric inner sleeve. One side of the inner sleeve has been repaired with clear tape. (see photos)  ADDITIONAL NOTE: In the dead wax, EKL-4014A & EKL-4014B along with a small (CTH) hand etched. Check my seller list for a few more rare Doors gems.  Will be shipped in a secure record mailing box.
