Description

Here is a super rare promotional 45 rpm record from my collection offered up for auction: BUDDY HOLLY & THE CRICKETS "Peggy Sue / Everyday" released on Coral Records 61885 , with brown Coral paper sleeve. Original Holly release from WAY back in 1957!, this is a radio station DJ pressing! The DJ's were the first people who got to hear young Buddy Holly's talent! This is a real rarity!  Both labels are free of any writing, and that is NOT the way you usually find most of these radio station copies! The DJ's always liked to write on them with intro times, radio station call names etc. just some light discoloration on the labels at close inspection. Record rates a solid VG, nice gloss with light wear only, No heavy marks. You can note the very slightest hint of an edge warp if you look very close. It has NO effect on the play!   PLAY TESTED! Sounds great! Clear bright sound! No issues! A very enjoyable listen!    (see all photos)
