RARE ORIGINAL FRENCH LP THE BEATLES - 'LES BEATLES'
This French version of 'With the Beatles' dates from early 1964 and is on the orange & black Odeon label: OSX 222
Matrix numbers: XAR 717 21B/M6 231498 & XAR 718 21B & M6 231499
Vinyl weight: 144g
Housed in an attractive fully laminated French designed/printed cover, complete with its original plain white inner-sleeve.

A vibrant and clean set around each undamaged center hole.
Visual: EX+
Both playing surfaces are clean and retain a healthy deep-gloss shine, free from any groove-whitening or clouded areas. NO marks at all
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT+
This great sounding pressing retains all the warmth and clarity of the UK pressing, shows no signs of any groove/playwear distortion or background crackle/interference.
Cover: EX +
This striking cover is in very respectable shape. The four corner are nice and sharp, no bend, tears, crease, fold etc....
The front panel is clean and glossy. The rear panel is overall clean & bright with no writing or missing paper. The only defect that is someone wrote (but it was removed) you can see only if you are looking for in a bright light, "Paris Olympia 27-1-64" so in a way you know that this lp was bought at the Olympia theater in Paris when the Beatles came to play, you have the place and the date!
There is a tiny 1cm stress in the centre of the spine but both seams are smooth and unsplit. see pix
