Description

RARE ORIGINAL PINK FLOYD THE FINAL CUT FIRST PRESSING

Genuine A1-B2 matrix numbers. Stunning copy.

Hi and a BIG thank you for your time to view my items.

Before you look and read my listings please take the time to read my Terms and Conditions, you will find them at the bottom of my listing and unless I have mis-written them I believe they are quite clear.
On my last listings I had buyers paying me minutes after the end of my auctions. I’m very happy for this to happen but I send items by the final weight after packing and protection have been added now for 1 LP to be posted with an average weight is around 600grams. I weigh every item that is won and use the royal mail website to give me the correct cost of sending this item.
The cost to send by First Class signed for is £4.10. 2nd class £3.70. Look at the Royal Mail website. To send items overseas to Europe is £11.70. To Japan £15.20 other countries will be around this cost. If you wish to purchase more items from my auction and win, then these costs will change as it will be calculated on weight.
I am not making money on this and I fail to see why I should send items at a lower cost as was pointed out to me by one winner who was prepared to open a case against me. I am also not putting a fictitious cost so that it may gain me more bids. If you disbelieve me please visit our Royal Mail website
www.royalmail.com/price-finder and check the cost for yourself.
Please also note I will not send any item by any other means other than Signed for, or International signed for. With NO exceptions.
If an item is won over £50 I will also not send this without insurance, again no exceptions.

.

I have once again after a very long break to list hopefully a varied selection of items from a very large collection that I have been collecting over many years. .

Now I’m not here to have an open debate or argument with anyone in the Ebay community, whether they be a professional or amateur seller or collector but over my collecting years there is always an element of surface or background noise/sound with audio reproduction on vinyl reproduction, I have purchased sealed audiophile heavyweight pressings that have suffered from some surface noise and in the very odd case were totally unplayable. I have purchased sealed records straight from the factory and these have suffered some degree of surface noise, it’s inherent in the pressing of vinyl and the way it is produced.
All used vinyl has at least light marks and surface scratches which are always visible when viewed under a bright light, my advice would be to stick to CD if you are after total blackout silence. Myself I believe surface noise adds to an emotional experience of reality which can not be matched by CD only my opinion

All the records (LP’s and 7 inch singles) that I intend to put onto Ebay for sale are 2nd hand either my own or have been given to me and have in many cases been played, some more than others. But I will always highlight this fact when grading, if the vinyl has surface marks or other defects these will be pointed out also.

I’m very sorry but I don’t always have time to play grade every single item, and the majority of my grading is done by purely visual means, so please view my feedback and you will see that I try to give the best account on the condition of any item I put up for auction.

This is my hobby and not my profession.

I will though play LP’s, and singles that are very collectable to get a better insight to the playing condition of the item being sold for auction.

I will never play/sound grade coloured vinyl or picture discs, they were made as limited edition collector's items only and the vinyl used to do this was of a lower quality. They will more likely have crackle and pop with background noise. They were made only to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, rather than have audiophile sound quality.
Now I accept that the above may differ from any winning bidders perception of what I have graded. I cannot always vouch for whether every record plays all the way through in total black silence with no noise. If you have any doubts then please email me or again just view my feedback.

PINK FLOYD: The Final Cut Rare Original first issue 1983 UK 12-track vinyl LP with picture labels A-1U/B-2U matrices, custom title stickered gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside - A beautiful fantastic copy SHPF1983.

The LP was played on my Elite Rock, Ittok tone arm and Blue Point special EVO III front end with Lavardin amplification and through Impulse H6 speakers. This is an awesome dynamic LP and the sound was truly amazing crystal clear, with no distortion, sound stage was deep, solid and wide. Very very light surface noise was evident in between tracks but did not distract from the playing and listening of this LP in it's entirety. No loud ticks, pops or jumps were heard throughout the whole playing of this LP. The sound was fantastic for a 30 year old LP and the volume was cranked up.

THE COVER: The picture cover shows superficial wear to the edges and corners. There can also be seen some light scuffing to the front cover. There is a small crease near the opening edge
There are no splits or tears and is free from any writing. The sticker though has been removed. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT condition.

THE BACK COVER: Again the back cover shows no writing but also shows some very light scuffing top and bottom but still has been graded in EXCELLENT condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: Original Black poly lined inner sleeve with no damage.

THE VINYL: The vinyl has the most fantastic shine to both playing surfaces. Both sides show very faint marks when held up and viewed under a strong light, none of which effected the sound quality of this LP. I have graded the LP in EXCELLENT condition.

THE LABELS: The labels show some very light spindle marks which show that the LP has been played. Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition with no writing on any of the surfaces.

MATRIX NUMBERS.: The matrix numbers machine stamped into the run-out grooves are.
