Since then the Tribe, as the quintet is affectionately called, has been running from city to city along the Eastern Seaboard in an effort to keep up with their numerous engagements. ONLY STARTIN' is exactly what its name implies.This album displays THE TRIBES considerable talent for handling a variety of vocal and instrumental numbers. Included in this "absolute variety of everything",as lead guitar J.M. GAROUTTE puts it,is their new original hit: COME ON HOME.This tune is surely marked for success. Backing up GAROUTTE are two other fine guitarists, JOHN HAWKINS on bass, and DICK ZACHER on rythmn. Keeping the beat is the TRIBES accomplished drummer DICK SAMMIS. As vocalist, NICK HILTON is the final member of the group. NICKS voice has a quality and depth lacking in most popular combos. With such a talented company,how could ONLY STARTIN' fail to be an outstanding addition to anyones record collection. J.M.
