Description
RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - "At The Cavern" (Red Decca LK 4597) MONO. Recorded in 1964, this VERY RARE LP features some of the top "Beat" stars of the day, including Beryl Marsden, The Marauders, The Dennisons etc, playing "live" at the legendary Cavern Club, Liverpool. The LP IS "live", with the expected audience noises in the background - terrific atmosphere!! Tracks include The Marauders "Doctor Feelgood", "Keep On Rolling", Beryl Marsden "Everybody Loves A Lover", The Dennisons "You Better Move On", Heinz "Somebody To Love", The Big Three "Bring It On Home To Me" etc etc. The vinyl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, the sleeve has some handling signs on the rear opening edge, plus some ringwear(see scan), and mild creases on the front(laminated) sleeve, but not too bad for an item nearly 50 years old!! AS already stated, this album is VERY SCARCE!! I am also selling more original 1960s compilation LPs, including "Brum Beat" on Dial, "Saturday Club" on Decca, "At The Cavern" on Decca etc etc. If you require any further details about this item, please contact me.
