Afro 70 - 1975 - RCA - France.
Lost afro jazz band formed in 1970 by tansanian singer, guitarist/composer Patrick Balisidya (ex-member of Dar es salaam jazz band), the "Afro 70" plays dirty soukouss music mixed with terrifics afro jazz fusion cuts, noticed that Balisidya created a style that he called "Afrosa". The most interesting track "Afrousa Move on" is a deep afro funk tune feat tam tam percussions, fat dirty bass line & sax. Congolease music lovers will be enjoy by the flying electrics guitars solos put on funky-soukouss track called "Wapi Heshima". Excellent deep groove african recording, don't miss it !
