Description

This is an original ITALIAN vinyl pressing of the classic 1973 Pink Floyd masterpiece - Dark Side of the Moon   On EMI Harvest Records, Ref 3C 064-05249 Matrices are 05249 A 14-11-78  // 0529 B 14-11-78 ....which I guess makes it a 1978 pressing    COMPLETE copy, comes with both posters and both stickers!!!    The Record:-   This is an EX+ ,  there are a few light surface marks but nothing more, vinyl has retained a glossy sheen and labels are clean and free from marks and writing. Labels actually dont even have any spindle wear so this has seen very little turntable time. Label states 'Made in Italy' ... 'The Gramophone Company Limited'  'EMI Italia S.p.A.'  
Beautiful copy    The Sleeve - This is a VG - Thicker Card than its British counterpart, a few short hairline creases though does have some ring-wear as the material its made from is more susceptible to this (much like USA copies) Top and Bottom Spines have some shelf-wear. Main spine is a little angled and has some light wear. NO splits or tears of any kind and no writing.   Posters and Stickers have never been removed from the sleeve - all are EX+ - only thing to call out is slight wear where the corners of the poster folds meet...very slight.  Posters are glossy and have the white border around the outside   All in all a very nice and COMPLETE Dark Side specimen.    Tracks are as follows   Speak To Me Breathe On The Run Time The Great Gig in the Sky   Money Us and Them Any Colour You like Brain Damage Eclipse

I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows:   Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.   Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.   Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.   Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
