Pressing Notes
This is not a standard black vinyl pressing but part of a special run of colored vinyl editions pressed in Holland around 1977–1978. These were issued in blue, green, and sometimes other variants. They were never part of the original 1975 first pressing campaign but are considered semi-official collectible reissues from the late ’70s.
• Labels: Feature the iconic black background with the mechanical handshake graphic.
• Matrix (deadwax): Your close-up shows etched details confirming it is a genuine Bovema Holland colored pressing, not a modern counterfeit.
• Cover: Dutch edition with front and back artwork printed directly onto the sleeve, not the original UK black shrink with postcard. Still in partial shrinkwrap.

Condition Observations
• Vinyl: Appears glossy and in strong condition from the photos, suggesting VG+ to EX.
• Labels: Minor spindle wear, but clean.
• Sleeve: Retains original shrink with “Coloured Vinyl” hype sticker. Some staining and yellow spotting near the bottom rear, light ring wear, corner/edge wear. Sleeve grades around VG.

Provenance & Historical Note
The front cover photograph famously depicts two businessmen shaking hands, with one man on fire. The stuntman in flames was Ronnie Rondell, who tragically passed away on 12 August 2025. This adds a strong historical resonance to the album—Rondell’s role has always been iconic in rock imagery, but his passing has already increased collector interest in Wish You Were Here editions.
