Description

This is one of the most outstanding (pun intended!) records of the early progressive rock movement: it is the 1969 LP "STAND UP" by JETHRO TULL. It is an original FIRST PRESSING on the pink ISLAND "Circle" label, cat# ILPS 9103. As I hope you can see from the pics, the G/F cover is in Mint condition, and this applies to the oft-damaged interior stand-up as well. The labels are clean, sharp and unblemished with only faint spindle-marking. Please study the pics. As to the vinyl itself, there are a couple of 'scuff' marks on side one. These do not sound on my deck but MAY (perhaps) cause a 'tick' or two on very sensitive equipment. Other than that, there are just the usual light non-sounding 'paper' marks from removal/replacement to the inner sleeve. The vinyl still has plenty of sheen and sounds just great. In short a very tidy copy of a great - and highly collectable - record by one of the foremost 'progressive' bands.
