Description
This is a rare, unique in fact, 12" promo copy of the vinyl album, "Eye To The Telescope" by KT Tunstall.
A little background... I bought this album from a local "music and books" charity shop about 2, maybe 3, years ago. The (then) manager told me that the record had been donated to the shop by a donor who had won the album in a charity auction. The record had, in turn, been donated to the auction by KT Tunstall or her record company. I did not doubt this explanation in the least and bought the record.
I was told that the artwork on the front of the record sleeve had been completed by KT herself. It is done in black felt tip pen and is clearly in her style.
The record itself is mint and has no sign of having ever been played. I have never played it. The outer sleeve is almost mint but with a couple of very very minor creases, and of course the doodles by KT Tunstall herself. The inner sleeve is mint.
For those interested, the matrix numbers stamped on the vinyl are: LPREL 06 A-2-1 on side A and LPREL 06 3-2-1 on the B side. Also, etched in the run-off grooves on side A is the word UNITY.
