Description
Here is a MEGA RARE PROMO album from my collection offered up for sale: The Doors 2 lp album "Absolutely Live", was released in Jim's lifetime, on July 20, 1970 by Elektra EKS 9002 Stereo. This is an ORIGINAL 1970 promotional "RADIO STATION COPY" with special white labels with the black "Butterfly" logo, has the printed inner sleeves. Music features live performances from 1969 - 1970 with great songs and was the first release of the "Celebrate The Lizard" sequence, Jim plays to the audience, GREAT album!
Both of the records grade VG/VG+, are clean and glossy, has several faint sleeve marks, a few light needle marks, side one has a small feel-able dimple, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, bright clear sound with a few light pops, a couple moderate pops where the dimple is, otherwise minimal surface noise, no jumps, no skips, an enjoyable listen! The cover rates EX, is clean with great colors with minimal ring wear, edges/corners are excellent with minimal wear to color, no splits, no tape, binder edge readable, has two corner bumps at opening edge, inside gatefold clean, no signatures or writing. The inner sleeves are clean, small center splits neatly taped, one sleeve has a bend with rubs to color. (see all photos)
