Description
Here is a MEGA RARE PROMO album from my collection offered up for sale: The Doors album "LA Woman", released in 1971 by Elektra EKS 75011 Stereo, released in Jim's lifetime. This is a limited edition promotional pressing, has special WHITE labels with black "Butterfly" logo and printed with "RADIO STATION COPY". The cover has acetate "window" with hole punch and hype sticker, still has original printed inner sleeve with hole punch. Music features hit songs "LA Woman" and "Riders On The Storm", plus "Crawling King Snake", "Changeling" and more, scarce pressing of a GREAT album!
The vinyl grades VG, is clean and glossy, has numerous faint sleeve/scuff marks and a couple light needle marks, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, bright clear sound with some very light background pops and a few errant pops, but no jumps, no skips and an enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG/VG+, has great deep burgundy color with gloss, seams and corners are solid with only light wear to color in spots, no splits, no tape, binder edge is readable, di-cut window has 1" tear to slick and a few small bumps, acetate is excellent, has a couple corner bumps/bends, no signatures or writing. The inner sleeve is clean, center split neatly taped, looks minimally handled. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in a "throw away" sleeve outside cover to prevent splits.
