Description

This is a rare promo single by The Honeys: "Surfin' Down the Swanee River" b/w "Shoot the Curl" (Capitol F4952). Released in Denmark 1963.

Produced by Brian Wilson. A side written by Saundra Glantz and Diane Rovell. The B side is a traditional tune By Stephen Foster (uncredited) and arranged by Brian Wilson.

The Honeys are Ginger Blake (Saundra Glantz), Marilyn Rovell, and Diane Rovell.

 Record is in VG condition. Name written on label. Some light paper scuffs, center intact. Sleeve is in G condition, with tape, wrinkles, bends, and writing.

This is the original Danish picture sleeve. When the record went into high demand, new issues were pressed and sleeves were imported from Sweden (in blue, orange, green, and red, with the photo centered rather than offset to the left).
