Dino Valente's story is one of the more peculiar of the mid 60's San Francisco psychedelic scene. Born Chester Powers, Valente's best known for writing the Youngbloods hit peace anthem "Get Together" (first recorded by the Jefferson Airplane in 1966), a founding on again off again member of the Quicksilver Messenger Service & although no one seems to know for sure, may have been the writer of the rock standard "Hey Joe".

Released in 1968 on Epic Records to almost total public indifference, this highly peculiar and very psychedelic LP has a rambling almost free form folk jazz feel to it. Although totally ignored at the time of it's release, this strangely brilliant LP is an absolute psych classic and almost immpossible to find in it's original vinyl pressing. Although Valente was signed to Warner Bros in the mid 70's, it never resulted in an actual release, making this the only Dino Valente solo LP.

This amazing original copy comes sealed in it's original poly wrap with the words Dino Valente printed in yellow & white on the outside of the wrapping. Absolutely stunning!!
