Description
This is a very hard to find copy of Frazer Hines one & only single the 1968 Psychedelic classic "Whos Dr Who ?".
The records A side was written by the top writing talent of Les Reed & Barry Mason, released in time for the Christmas market in 1968 on Major Minor records MM579, the B side is "The Punch & Judy Man" many felt at the time that this should of been the A side but Major Minor were keen to cash in on Frazer Hines Dr Who connection as at the time he was playing Jamie Mccrimmon in the tv series.
The single failed to make an impression on the charts so today its very hard to find!
The record has the trademarks of the psychedelic era with quite a bit of feedback as can be heard on Status Quos Pictures of Matchstick men & other records of this era.
The records condition I would describe as very good ++ its been played but is not scratched just the odd hairline marks & plays through with hardly any surface noise.
The 2010 rare record collectors guide has this single listed at a whopping £150!.
It comes in its original Major Minor company sleeve & this is in great condition with no tears or creases.
Overall a great record in great condition & would make a great Christmas present for Dr Who fans or music lovers of the Psychedelic era!
