In 1979, Teenage Filmstars released their debut single, "(There's A Cloud Over Liverpool". It was backed by "Sometimes Good Guys Don't Follow Trends". Neither track appeared on a Teenage Filmstars album. They didn't have any. The Chelsea, England mod revivalist band was really a side project of The Television Personalities and consisted of Ed Ball, Joe Foster and Daniel Treacy, all Television Personalities' members, along with drummer Paul Damien. The project lasted until 1980 and was resurrected for awhile during the 1990's.
