SUPER, SUPER RARE FIND! From the estate of a former Pontiac Dealer in south Texas. This was from a small advertising market and was likely not played much at all. 7" Promo 33 record for the Pontiac GTO "The Judge" by Paul Revere and the Raiders with Mark Lindsey in 1969. Song was the anchor of a major advertising campaign for the 1969 "wide track" Pontiac GTO JUDGE. I believe the song was called "Breakaway" and gives a rocking list of features for the Judge by the band. They also did this on a TV commercial which can be viewed now on YouTube. Side one is the complete 2:30 song and the flip side has 4 radio spots featuring shortened versions of the song. Appears to be Mono. Record has great labels, which is a picture of the Judge mag wheels. Playing surface is a shiny VG+ due to some light, superficial marks from being found with no sleeve in the home. Plays great with minor background crackle - may need a better cleaning. No skips, warp or deep scratches. One small, light jagged scuff on A side not affecting play. A great find for the record collector and the GTO fanatic alike! Also listing another 7" record from the same find that has the song "Breakaway" instrumentally. Check it out.
