Description

This is a rare Promo copy of "HONEY AND WINE" b/w "GOD BLESS THE CHILD"
by THE ALL NIGHT WORKERS, a band put together with Lou Reed and John Cale
during Reed's Pickwick Records days as a writer of rock and R&B doowop. It is,
apparently, cherished and much sought after by the German soul fans. Reed and
Cale went on to form the Velvet Underground.
This single was made by CAMEO RECORDS C-420, 1966, Promotional Copy. The
labels and vinyl are close to NM, with one small surface mark (barely noticeable)
and having no effect on side A. Gerry Goffin and Carole King wrote the A side and
Billie Holiday and Arthur Herzog wrote the B side. Amazing condition for 45 years
old, plays great.
