We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The YARDBIRDS ~ About as good as anything the Stones or Beatles were up to at the time. An solid album in every way, and really one of the best British Invasion albums ever made. Although the three famed Yardbirds guitarists never played together on an album, this 'album' does feature both Jeff Beck on the first six tracks and Eric Clapton on the last four. Simply brilliant. An essential album everyone should own...It's very sad that the 'Birds are know mainly as "that group Jimmy and Eric were in before they became good". Because with Jeff Beck at the reigns, the Yardbirds went ahead and pioneered pretty much EVERY form of rock music that would be released to date.
Just take a listen to the solo from "Mr. You're a Better Man Than I" - who played like that before? No-one. Who played like that after? Everyone.
"Heart Full of Soul"? With its sitar-like guitar, bongos, echoey production, trippy backing vocals? Yep, that's the beginning of psychedelia.
"Train Kept-A Rollin" and it's crunchy riff pretty much defines hard rock. "I'm A Man" with its atonal noise finale predates the kind of weird experimentation that Jimi Hendrix and the Velvet Underground would start the next year or so. "Evil Hearted You" with the melodic, Latin-influenced guitar solo predates any kind of world music. And "Still I'm Sad"?! Very trippy and WAY ahead of its time indeed for 1965?!
The last 4 tracks are with guitarist Clapton - which just show how pioneering Jeff Beck was -- with this album he re-wrote the rule-book for rock guitarists up to 1965!

- CONDITION:
- The cover: Rated: VG++ generally very clean for a limited edition 55+ years past teen scene favorite. Only a little touch of rub-wear starting - and contained. Back cover shows some light soil handling along pocket opening but it is light! Otherwise pretty clean white with very little soil all around - remarkable given the fact over 5 decades old and still this sharp! to the highly wear-prone cover! Basically hard to find LP in ANY condition because it was pressed only for the relatively small Canadian audience and is HIGHLY sought in Canada to this day. The Capitol rainbow 60000 series pressing is COMPLETELY different cover from USA release! Has no split seams, no delete marks, no bends, no writing.

- The vinyl: Rated: VG++ has a few only, stray light hair-thin marks. The original owner stated that the vinyl plays clean since the disc is just lightly scuffy and not with appearance of heavy stuff, no deep scratch, etc. This may well be the product of a "deep groove" pressing and performs according to the past owner and has NO dreaded previous ceramic cartridge use; a popular cartridge hold-over
from the 50's. The rainbow Capitol MONO labels are clean !
