Description
up for auction is a very rare ACETATE from 1965 .
it is ONE SIDED . it plays at 33 RPM and is almost 10" about 9 3/4 "
it is from a GEORGIE WOODS ( but has BILL ADAMS filling in for georgie ) - RADIO SHOW WDAS PHILADELPHIA - PEPSI - TEEN PICK OF THE WEEK - and has bill adams with a local teen guest dj - on this one is local teen DEBORAH BOSTON from WEST CATHOLIC GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL - talking a little , mentioning a lot of local teens/people and announcing her pick " SHAKE IT AND POP " by JUNIOR WALKER AND THE ALL STARS . followed by the song . also has a few PEPSI commercials mixed in . including the new ( at the time ) diet pepsi .
this ACETATE has not been cleaned , just gently wiped off .
ACETATE is VG ( some light lines marks/light scratches . some of which are slightly feelable with the edge of a fingernail . plays very well with some minor surface noise , and with some minor ticking . still an enjoyable listen , in my opinion . NO skips on my turntable with lightweight tonearm and light tracking force . there are two very small chips on the very outside edge , where a very slight bit of the lacquer is missing but is very stable , as is the rest of the acetate , no other flaking or anything , nice and solid . )
