The reissue that sold out nearly instantly last Black Friday is finally back in print. The only difference between this pressing and the previous Black Friday pressing is that those first 1000 copies were gold-foil stamped and these are not. Same gatefold, tip-on jacket and high quality pressing. Snag it if you missed it the first time around!
Insanely raw soul from 1971! Extremely rare and being reissued for the first time. Gloria Barnes teams up with The Ohio Players and Lee Moses to create her only LP, Uptown, that would become highly desirable in the deep soul/funk market and is just now seeing the light of day again in 2017. This is one of those records that all you have to do is drop the needle and you know it's for real. The only original copy for sale on Discogs is available for a cool $3500 :)
