Description
Rare Rockabilly 45 RPM record by Bob and Lucille on the DITTO Records label. This record was recorded in 1958, and it was a huge hit for this duo. A side: EENY-MEENY-MINEY-MOE, B side: DEMON LOVER. This record receives a conservative grade of VG, since there is minor background noise throughout both songs, but both sides play through without any skips or major clicks. Once the Rockabilly song EENY-MEENY-MINEY-MOE starts, with the awesome guitar intro, you can hardly hear any of the background noise. DEMON LOVER is a slow song, so the background noise is more prevalent. Bob and Lucille's voices, and Bob's awesome guitar solo on EENY-MEENY-MINEY-MOE are as Rockabilly as it gets. Bob and Lucille are in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame under the name The Canadian Sweethearts.
OK guys, another collector of Rockabilly music sent me a message telling me that the numbers I listed as matrix numbers were actually not the matrix numbers for this record, and without telling me what the right matrix numbers were, he asked me to have a second look at the trail-off on both sides of the vinyl. I checked the tail-off on both sides again, and this is what I found. The EENY-MEENY-MINEY-MOE trail-off has a pyramid and the numbers 28555 between 11:00 and 12:00 o'clock, and the DEMON LOVER trail-off has a pyramid and the numbers 28554 between 7:00 and 8:00 o'clock.
