Description
This is a Test Pressing for Roland Kirk's full-length LP "Volunteered Slavery" released by Atlantic in 1969. Exceptional album by Kirk who helped usher in the wave of soul-jazz and spiritual-jazz while still being adept at post-bop and free jazz all showcased on this fine slab of vinyl. Record comes housed in a plain white cardboard cover when hand-written track listing and a quote from Roland Kirk. Included is a memo from promoter Mario The Big "M" Medious.

Labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Vinyl record is in VG+ condition with a few surface marks and plays with noticeable surface noise and stray clicks but nothing overbearing and no distortion...still sounds great! Plain, hand-written cover is in VG condition with wear at corners, some edgewear, ringmark and tanning from storage. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
