Almost perfect, highest grade I use. No visible defects when inspected under electrical light.

NM = AA+
Near mint item. Record has been played, but handled with care. Very light signs of handling on label.

NM- = A/AA+
Vinyl is clean, but has light, not disturbing superficial surface marks. Mostly paper wear.

VG++ = EX = A
More signs of wear, but still a great copy. Light superficial surface marks may induce a few tics up and there. Often used for early records.

VG+ = A-
more consistent noise or light scratches, no skip (see description)

VG = B+
same as EX, but more pronounced tics, scratches, rubs, etc. (only for very old or rare items)

well preserved cover, but light signs of wear
