RARE SANDOR SZOKOLAY 2 ACT OPERA SAMSON
A rare two-LP set in a nice box. A complete recording of Hungarian composer, Sandor Szokolay's opera in two acts "SAMSON". The LPs are on the Hungaroton label in stereo, made in Hungary, nos. SLPX-11738-39. A cast of top Hungarian singers that include Melis György (baritone) in the role of Samson, Hazy Erzsébet (soprano) as Delila, Janos Nagy, etc., etc. The Hungarian State Opera Orchestra is conducted by KORODI ANDRAS. A 60-page (large format) booklet with lots of pictures, notes, and the libretto in four languages: Hungarian, English, German and Russian. The LPs look new and unplayed. The box is mint.
