Original Canadian American debut CALP-1001 Heavy Platter
Before California rock from the Beach Boys, before rockin' instrumentals from the Ventures, there was the duo of Santo & Johnny.
Two Brooklyn, guitar-playing brothers, one on steel, one on electric, who laid down licks that would change the fabric of rock forever.
Here, on their debut album, they deliver haunting melodies like CARAVAN, SUMMERTIME, BLUE MOON, SCHOOL DAY, SLEEPWALK (great!), CANADIAN SUNSET, TENDERLY, and DREAM, among others.
Polished laminated jacket is without major fault, just has a back yellowed with age. Inside, is the heavy-platter original, which should play VG+.
A fine and rare copy of an early pop classic.

Shipping and handling is $4 for a single LP shipped within the States; $1 for each additional LP. Internationally, $22.50 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is $15.50; $3 each additional.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
