RARE SEALED ORIGINAL PRESSING

— THE ART OF LOVIN’ (1968) — MAINSTREAM RECORDS S/6113

Up for sale is an ULTRA-RARE FACTORY SEALED original 1968 pressing of The Art of Lovin’ — a cult classic from the golden era of psychedelic folk rock. Released on the iconic Mainstream Records label (catalog S/6113), this is a true first pressing and not a reissue or bootleg.

🔹 Condition:

• Vinyl: MINT (sealed, presumed unplayed)

• Jacket: NM with sharp corners, tight shrink, no cut-outs or punch holes. Minimal shelf wear.

• Shrinkwrap has small tear on top (see pics)

🔹 Highlights:

• Original 1968 U.S. STEREO pressing

• Features male/female vocal interplay reminiscent of Jefferson Airplane

• Includes the haunting psych-folk gem “Paul’s Circus” and Tim Hardin’s “(How Can We) Hang on to a Dream”

• Long out of print and highly sought after by collectors worldwide

• Recorded by a short-lived Massachusetts group — only one album ever released

💎 A sealed copy like this is almost unheard of. Most surviving originals are heavily played or worn. A perfect piece for audiophiles, psych collectors, or serious vinyl investors.
