Add’’l Comments:  RARE, SIGNED SOUNDTRACK!  THIS IS - FORBIDDEN PLANET - ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK ON PLANET RECORD LABEL.  WOW, IT TOOK 20 YEARS AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE FILM TO GET THE SOUNDTRACK FINALLY PRESSED ON VINYL.  THE FIRST 1500 COPIES WERE HAND SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY THE BARRONS AND THIS IS COPY # 659. 

        THE VINYL LOOKS AND PLAYS GREAT WITH THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF STATIC NOISE, BY NO MEANS OVERWHELMING.  LIKE NEW LABEL.  THE COVER SHOWS SOME OVERALL LIGHT AGE & STORAGE WEAR, STILL DISPLAYS NICELY.  THE AUTOGRAPHS OF THE BARRONS ARE CRISP AND CLEAN!  THIS VERY DESIRABLE, AUTOGRAPHED, ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK WILL BE A SUPER ADDITION TO ANY SERIOUS VINYL COLLECTION.

We grade all vinyl according to the Goldmine standards which are as follows:

Mint (M) - "These are absolutely perfect in every way."

Near Mint (NM) - "it looks like it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time." NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - These records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated play has not misshaped the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticed.

Very Good (VG) - These records have more obvious flaws. The lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches, deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, perhaps even an occasional audible light scratch, especially in soft passages and during a song’’s intro and ending.

Lesser grades such as Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-) will be addressed at time of listing.
